Men’s Counseling

Men's counseling begins exactly where you are.

Many men find themselves constantly striving, burdened by work stress and home responsibilities, which often leads to neglecting their own well-being.

This may manifest as irritability, sleep disturbances, disengagement, or a general sense of not being oneself. You don't need someone to dictate your actions. Instead, you need a supportive environment where you feel respected, understood, and can acquire practical tools for growth.

Together, we will analyze your stress patterns, enhance your sleep and daily routines, and develop coping mechanisms for challenging situations. We'll address anxiety, depression, and burnout through actionable steps, such as sharpening your focus, enhancing your communication skills, and strengthening connections with the people who matter most in your life. We'll also explore your purpose and values, aligning your choices with the man you aspire to be.

This journey isn't about achieving perfection; it's about shedding your defenses and rediscovering your inner strength. If you're ready to begin, let's work together.

What to expect

My men's counseling sessions offer a non-judgmental, no-nonsense environment where you can speak freely and gain practical, real-world tools. We'll meet for a focused 55-minute sessions, either weekly or bi-weekly, to establish clear goals and conduct brief check-ins. To ensure continuous progress between visits, we'll utilize practical take-home drills.

Our approach integrates proven methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for shifting unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for stabilizing attention and mood, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for shame, guilt and emotional difficulties.  We also incorporate performance tools such as breathwork, effective self-talk, and habit design.

Map & Stabilize

We clarify your goals, map stressors, and set a short plan for sleep, movement, and immediate relief. Expect straight talk, clear next steps, and a judgment-free space led by a therapist with 10 years of experience and a Veteran’s perspective.

Build & Practice

We use evidence-based tools—CBT to challenge unhelpful thoughts, EMDR to reprocess stuck memories, and MBSR to build “calm on command.” If you choose, we will integrate a faith-informed lens. You’ll practice skills between sessions so gains show up at home, work, and under pressure.

Sustain & Lead

We track wins, adjust what’s not working, and solidify routines for durable results—better mood, stronger relationships, steadier self-control. You’ll leave with a simple maintenance plan and check-ins as needed, so progress sticks.
