Meet Your clincial supervisor
Drawing upon a decade of intensive experience in clinical social work, I bring a robust and multifaceted background to my supervision, including an 11-year career in the United States Marine Corps. These experiences instilled in me principles of discipline, resilience, and a profound commitment to service. My professional journey further encompasses five dedicated years at the Fargo VA, where I gained invaluable insights into the unique challenges faced by Veterans and their families. This was followed by four years in successful private practice, where I honed my skills in diverse therapeutic modalities and with various client populations. Most recently, I spent three impactful years serving North Dakota's first responders, including the Highway Patrol and BCI, providing critical mental health support to those on the front lines.
My supervision approach is direct, supportive, and results-oriented. I equip supervisees with practical, immediately applicable clinical skills. Emphasizing professional integrity, I guide them in developing robust ethical frameworks and upholding the highest standards. My goal is to empower supervisees to achieve confident, competent, and independent practice, thereby fostering their growth into skilled, ethical clinicians.
